Returns Policy
Although we aim to ensure that all of our customers obtain the fullest enjoyment and satisfaction from our products and services, health regulations require that the vast majority of our products can not be returned or exchanged. In short, we do not allow you to “try before you buy” or return a product because it didn't achieve the results you had hoped for. The moral of the story is – choose carefully before you order any of our products.
As required by law, we are required to receive returns of defective goods. If, following delivery of a product, you discover that the product has a manufacturing defect, you can return the product to us for a credit or we will replace your product for the same product.
In order to limit the prospects that a product supplied by us will be defective, all goods are tested before leaving our warehouse to ensure that they are functioning as intended. However, if you receive delivery of a defective product and would like to return it to us, you must give us notice of your return of the product within 30 days of processing the order to you. To ensure the process or returning goods runs as smoothly and as effectively as possible, we require that you follow these steps:
Forward an email to our customer service center at info@toysforgrownups.com.au and be sure to include all of your personal details (name, phone number(s), address etc), order number, product details and details of the claimed defect as soon as you realize the product is defective and in any event, no later than 30 days after processing of the product to you. (Note: Goods not received by us within 30 days of you notifying us that your product is faulty may not be eligible for credit or replacement). We will then provide you with a returns authorisation number (“RAN”).
You should then immediately return the defective product in its original packaging to PO Box 270 Chadstone Centre Vic 3148 with your RAN clearly marked on the package.
Our staff will examine the returned product and make a determination as to whether the product is indeed defective.
In determining whether a product is defective, you agree that a product will be deemed to not be defective and/or may not be returned to us if:
(a)the product has been subject to abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to excessive temperatures , using the wrong type of lubricant for the product or other excessive environmental conditions;
(b)if the defect is as a result of dropping, accidental or intentional damage, neglect, abuse, misuse, alteration, unauthorised repair, unauthorised modification or use of incorrect batteries or other power supplies; or
(c)we were not notified of the defect within 30 days of processing of the product to you.
(d)If the product returned to us after 30 days of you notifying us of your faulty product.
Security Information
Toys for Grownups uses eWays Internet Payment Gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client's browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology.
When your web browser shows a little lock icon towards the bottom right-hand corner, this means a secure connection has been established (this is a good sign). A client's credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet and the only company who has access to this data is the merchant's bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the client's browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.
Using Your Credit Card on the Internet
Is using your credit card over the Internet dangerous? Although many complex security systems have been devised so far because of the inherent problems of using credit cards, none are completely secure. The fact is that every time you use your credit card, you are risking your credit card being misused. Perhaps more importantly, you should realise that the most dangerous place to use a credit card is the way you use it normally - in full view of people.
If you use your credit card for any purpose, it will be viewed by many people. Because credit card numbers are stored within organisations, they can be viewed, copied and misused by any of the people coming into contact with them. This includes the person processing the transaction, administrators within the organisation and the office cleaner when old credit card transaction slips are placed in the rubbish bin.The question then is what will be the cost to you if it is misused? Most major credit card companies will refund the costs of any fraudulent transactions. You can confirm this by ringing your credit card company. In the absolute worst case, some credit card companies charge a fee, usually around $50, for fraudulent card use. This will occur if they cannot be convinced you were not responsible for authorising the transaction. In effect, this means that using a credit card turns into a $50 risk every time you use it. This 'risk' exists whenever you use your card on the Internet or when you physically walk into a store and use it.
